Re: Bernie Marsden Signature

I saw the video where playing it and talking about it.If Bernies amp is a 1978 it’s not a Plexi and it’s not Hand Wired it should be PCB. Bernies Signature amp should have more gain on both channels. Different mids and something with the power amp. How does the sound differ when you compare it to a ...

The stage cabs and heads are all dummies
What kind of load is Yngwie actually using since i believe he uses both 50W and 100W amps?

Re: YJM Plexi into DSL1 for home volume

What is that RAT speaker load? Nothing for a 100W Plexi i guess. I still like my Plexi with Added M/V and cascaded channels.

Re: Vintage Series 1959 Plexi Reissue

I thought the option to get the 1959 with an effects loop was good so i think it was a bad decision. But maybe the 1959 HW is selling better.

Sure, turn your amp around and look at it while you run the Kemper and the neighbors will never know. :winking
Ha ha the old trick. A Marshall stack in front and the Kemper behind it.

Re: SV 20 Or SC Head

Maybe, but i’m no big fan of headphones and a good attenuator is pretty expensive. The Two Notes Torpedo Reload seems good but around 700€. I used to have a Marshall Power Brake but it was like carrying a car battery around so i sold it. Maybe i should have kept it.

SV 20 Or SC Head

I thought about getting the Studio Vintage 20 head for home use since i play and like the 1959 SLP. But i saw a test and it reached about 106 db in the 5W mode so maybe it’s better getting the Studio Classic 20 head since i live in an apartment with neighbours.

Re: Marshall Origin

Thanks Surf! I can´t wait to try these. I´m mostly interested in the 50W amp. How do they sound and feel? I´m more old school Marshall tone like a 1959/2203.

Re: Celestion/E Vintage 30 speakers

I bet it's like guitars most could not tell what it is. But if i compare a cab with Celestion V30's and Celestion 75W's i hear a big difference.
