I have been waiting for an opprotunity to try this new amp for myself but just have not seen one yet. These sound clips are making a hell of a case to buy this amp before I even demo it. Assuming the clips were all the JMD1 with no pedals that was pretty amazing.

Interesting chain of pedals, I wouldn't think you would want such a big chain while on tour but rather have a sound guy control the effects on the board. I see he is using the Hardwire delay, good pedal. I also find his choice of cabinet mic's strange, can't figure out what he is using

Some of those late 70s Pauls were pretty messed up but nothing that can't be fixed. I would not mess with the back of the neck paint but would have the fretboard professionally done with some nice stainless jumbos. Love the wine color

The 1960A has G12T-75 speakers which would not be the best for a amp like the VM. A 1960AX on the other hand is a great vintage cabinet that is loaded with greenbacks, would match up very nice with the vintage modern.
