Re: tried a kemper

Thanks... the idea was to have everything at my fingertips yes... but without all the cabling on the floor. So I had to build the desk myself :)
Most of the cabling is behind the piano...

Re: tried a kemper

Had mine for a couple of years now I think... from being sceptical due to the cheap Star Trek prop I now consider this one of my best purchases...
I rented it out to Pat Metheny earlier this year (or the guys arranging the concert did).

Re: High school reunions - who attends these?

I'm with you there Papus... Most of the people I don't even say hi to if I meet them... no grudge or anything... I got away easy on school unlike may. THAT said, I did'nt spend much time with most of them while on school... I'm not even friend with most of them on Facebook, and I didn't like those "...

Re: Holy Grail Guitar Show - Berlin October 8-9th 2016

Thank for the pictures... I admit, I stored a couple from Husemoen guitarstand as I am in the process of ordering but don't know what yet :) Really a nice bouquet of guitars that is... would have loved to be there... Reliving does't seem to be a big thing there though.., which is a good thing. Øyste...

Re: New milestone

While agree with the philosophy, no pedals are not an option as I see it. If I could crank my amps open at any venue, then sure... but there are too many venues where the volume must be controlled... so if one wish a little dirt and a fuller tone, an overdrive pedal needs to be in place. If I used o...

Brother Tuck's - New single release

Ok... arriving shortly at Spotify, Tidal, iTunes/Apple Music etc, etc... My Blues/Rock band Brother Tuck's are releasing a two-song single simply titled Brother Tuck's. I've written the lyrics for both of them, and Two-time Woman is all mine... I hope you like what you hear, and remember sharing (th...

Re: Holy Grail Guitar Show - Berlin October 8-9th 2016

I know there are many great luthiers there, but you should stop by Norwegian Wood Series / Øystein Husemoen... you may get a chance to try out guitars made of other wood types then you're used to. Really expensive though but great guitars (I'm in the process of ordering my second one from him).

Re: The Jubilee family

I did! For playing live in a Band, I would take the V30 s. They better cut through the Bandsound. Here in the Museum I prefer the Greenbacks cause of their warm and crispy sound. Sigi Makes sense... I was worried that the amp would perhaps sound to harsh with the V30's... I don't consider them the ...

Re: The Jubilee family

Just got the 2525H and 2536 cab in the house myself... Gonna be fun exploring it, but it did't instantly sound good though... I think perhaps these need some tweaking... Did you try it with V30 speakers? If so, what do you think of them compared to greenies? Could just be the amp needs burning in a...

Re: Carol-Ann Triptik V2

Quite rare amp in Norway... I've only encountered one, but never had a chance to try one... Really interesting amps though...

I know Joe Bonamassa used one in his 6-amp rack before "downgrading".
