Can I also recommend the Fane alnico speakers! New production not vintage.
High powered but vintage in tone.
I’ve heard some say they reproduce that higher powered blue alnico tone better than the Cream.

Alnico speakers really are something else
I had 2x 1964 alnicos about 6 years back and they sounded great with the JTM145 I had at the time

50s wiring does increase high end In the guitar and can be considered to be bright. If it’s the bridge using a 0.47 cap should darken the tone more once you start rolling it back as it will take out more highs. I’ve an SG jr which I thought was rather bright. It is of my understanding the C’s wer modelled on the earliest G12H speakers which were 25 watt but I could be wrong it’s been 10 years since I owned them

I agree. The heritage range is awesome. And I have a blue in my lazy j.

Guys are we saying if the power tube KT66 tubes get swapped out you have to be careful of the tubes you replace due to the bases being the same? Ie will EL34’s happily fill the spot
