well, according to Santiago, who designed the amp, in the SL-5 any octal output valve can be used without adjustment. So work away, and let us know how you get on :)

I can understand the frustration of pedal/amp makers at other people copying their circuits, but someone who really wants to can clean this crap off and copy it anyway.
