My cardboard padding had held up pretty nicely for a month or so, though I also run through an ext cab alot of the time (the sure-fire rattle killer)

How did you hook that up? I just got a THD Hotplate Attenuator and I have no idea how to put this in between the speaker and the power section. Thanks for the help... -Matt It connects inbetween the amp and the cab. I got a (rental) 1936 cab when I bought the amp in an attempt to curb the rattling ...
