Re: JCM 800/900 - The Soundsetters

How else could you possible have all those Marshalls cranked if not in some country side, a city is no place for a 100w Marshall. :bgrin

I live in a house which means I can crank my 2203 all day long, and all my friends in apartments are pissing off about it. :yea

More guitar stuff, green shit all over it, looks like it was in swamp for a year. All gold plating looks ordinary, but up close it fucked up. You've never seen gear this close!

Well, I've been into photography for long time, lately I went to macro stuff, so I thought why not do some macro shots of Marshalls and guitar stuff...so here it is, hope you enjoy it. 0.49 string in tune http://i49.tinypic.com/rbbr7b.jpg Fretting http://i45.tinypic.com/2rzyjbc.jpg First string and ...

Re: A Question for those with OD boxes in the fx loop

I used Boss SD-1 in my loop and I kinda liked slight grit on the clean channel, sterile super-cleans are not my thing.

I tried Eq pedal but it only served as master volume, fizz remains, so only solution for getting rid of fizz and volume control was SD-1 , at least for my taste.

Re: Pulling tubes..without anesthesia

Don't pull out those tube man, check out that OD pedal in effects loop trick and adjust volume as you like with preamp volume maxed, it works, or if you don't like OD there just put eq pedal and adjust volume with pedal.

Re: Another pedal that works great in the MA effects loop

Good idea Phano, maybe 4x12 cab would be nice from Marshall :bgrin :Thumbs

I don't think many people know about this master volume thing, most of them ignores MA since they try it at low volumes, but anyone who tried it really likes it.

Re: Another pedal that works great in the MA effects loop

I told you it's gonna work :bgrin
Any kind of overdrive pedal should do the job, I tried this with EQ pedal and it's just not the same thing, OD pedal filters the fizz in the drive and just kicks MA to another level.

Enjoy the new MA ! :jam

Re: MA's new look....

Well I had SD-1 to try out and like the sound really, Phano here on the forum uses Vox Ice 9 pedal, but cheapest are SD-1 or Digitech Bad Monkey.
