Re: the NFL thread

It killed me that he (Adrian Peterson) just missed the single season rushing record last year - I watched his games and thought he should get it. I think he thought he had it after the last game, and when the lady reporter told him he just missed it, he handled it with class. I remember watching Eri...

Is Andy at PGS good or what? - dude can play anything

Nice sounding fuzz. I have a lot of them but rarely use one live - they do have some uses though.

Re: Anyone remember Bud Bundy

Yeah - but like Al Bundy (the man who scored 4 touchdowns in 1 game for Polk High) said....: she's the "Colonel Sanders woman"...... "Small breast and no meat on the legs"..... (she did look hot in the 80s lingerie pic - but she did have chicken legs) :) Not that I'm picky - gotta luv em all! 1:15 i...

Re: Anyone remember Bud Bundy

Agreed - classic for sure - so many 1-liners......

...Like when Bud and Kelly were in disguise dressed like hippies and Bud said to Kelly:
"remember my name is Moon Beam and your name is Peace - "P" - "I" - "E" - "C" - "E"

or something like that.... :)

Re: Anyone remember Bud Bundy

Married with Children was a classic. Do you ever wonder what happened to Bud Bundy? Well he is a rapper. Oh yea, we all wanted to bang Kelly Bundy didn't we. I actually would have did Marcy. Ha - good luck getting Marcy to switch to the ...

Re: Question on 1987X Re-issue

Mine is an older model (1997) with no effects loop and Drake transformers. Mine had the bright cap (4700pf) right on the Volume 1 pot (blue colored cap) and was very easy to remove and test other caps - de-soldering one leg of the cap does the trick. After a bunch of testing, I prefer it with no bri...

Re: Home Invasion caught live

If that were in my house my Shepherd would have hurt that asshole pretty bad. He also would have been blown apart either by me or my wife or sons. I agree that some people are not prepared but that is not the case in many homes here in the US including mine. Same here. Whoever (is stupid enough) to...

Re: Just got DSL100H

The new DSL heads only come in 100 watts (along with a half power switch) - unlike the DSL JCM 2000 that came in 50 or 100 watts.

I tried one of these new DSL 100H in a GC and really liked it - I read others saying the JCM 2000 are better, but I don't know, never tried one...

Re: Badcat Unleash: A contrarian point of view

I had mint used 16ohm THD HotPlate that I used with my 1987x. It sounded good but I didn't like the 4db "steps". Also - I noticed some phasey sounding artifacts as my notes decayed (I don't do high gain either). I really didn't like that part - sounded artificial. So I got a mint used Ultimate Atten...

Re: JH100 Dead quiet on top LH input and noisy on RH input

I'm not sure about that and I didn't compare L and R inputs. However, a while back I noticed that one of my JH heads had more noise/buzz than the other. I ended up moving the green wire on V2 which eliminated the noise. Here's a different thread with pics: http://marshallvintagemodern.com/viewtopic....

Mine's not an 800 - but I love my JMP 2204 from 1979.
