mine got delivered last tuesday but i didn't open it until today. is the circuit the same in the newer models (mine is a 2012) versus the circuit used back in 2010? reason i ask is that i have a combo version from 2010 and for some reason the newer head sounds better to me?
well, never one to be denied, i thought of another "fix" for my rattle. i took some fiberglass insulation (without the paper backing) and gently layered it into the chassis around the board and all the electronics. do i risk any type of short circuit or electrocution by doing this? it seems to have ...

you removed the whole washer thing? i had this thing apart so many times that i didn't want to have to take it apart again. i'll do that at some point.
