Re: G12C / Mojotone Watchtower Speakers

The Watchtowers are for sure G12C's with a Watchtower sticker on them. I own 4. Correct Celestion sticker on the side identifying as G12C. If your really careful you can peel back the watchtower sticker off the magnet cover and the correct Celestion G12C label is there. At least on the 16om version....

Re: Help! Are Asroria pots/shafts loose are just my amp?

Thank you Sigi for taking the time to do that! I appreciate it!

It would seem unlikely that the Classic, my Classic should be different from the Custom and Dual.

Unless the Classic uses completely different pots?

Maybe a member with a Classic will be able to chime in on their amp/pots.

Thanks!

The push/pull volume. Only one on the Classic is the least loose. Its the non-push pull ones I am most concerned about. Thank you! I appreciate it!

Help! Are Asroria pots/shafts loose are just my amp?

I recently sold my Astoria Classic head to cover other gear costs. The seller asked to return it becasue he said it was not as loud as other 30w amps and would not work for his needs. I said fine. The amp arrived back yesterday and I gave it a good look over and noticed that all of the pots/shatfs s...

Re: LDR - more distortion expected?

I am not a tech but change the power tubes out. Just because you can set the bias at 47/48 I do not believe says for sure the tubes are good. Maybe one is wearing out. If the bad tone did not happen right after you did the mods/repairs then it may have nothing to do with them being done. Replace the...

Re: Andertons UK pre-order for a run of 2555X's ?

I did a little looking and not sure the 230v transformer can be wired to 110v. I took a picture of mine and it says 110v There is a seller on Reverb selling a 230v JVM transformer pulled to put a 110v one in and it says it fits in the 2555x also and came up under that search. That one says 230v. Sin...

Ceriatone Horse-Breaker

This may be old news but Ceriatone is sending out the new Horse Breaker pedal. There is a store on Reverb. I think its Amelia something. They are the major Centura distributor in the USA they say. Anyway its $250 shipped from Ceriatone but that store will have 10 in stock soon for $269 plus $9 shipp...

Andertons UK pre-order for a run of 2555X's ?

I looked on Andertons website ans saw they are taking pre-orders for 2555X's. Expected October 31st. They have them in silver and black and there is also a black snakeskin one but that one did not say pre-order just available to order usally within 10 days. The prices are great. I wonder if Martshal...

Re: The Klon Centaur is Back

I picked up a Ceriatone Centura not long ago. Its a very good sounding pedal. The gold one with the Centaur weilding a guitar like a sword. lol. These go for 250 new 200 used. Its more than I spend on pedals but feel it is worth it. It really sounds great. I already also had the two versions of the ...

Re: Fair price for a used 2555x

Thanks. I really like it. Just got a NOS Marshall correct channel footswitch of store off Ebay although its probably going to stay parked on the drive channel. Also just ordered some new EL34L's. Already had extra pre-amp tubes and also a set of KT77's too when I have time.

Re: PRS Expands SE Line

I have 3 SE's I purchased used like new. 1 older pre-bird inlay Singlecut all natural color light wood and recetnly picked up 2 Bernie Marsden models. I like them a lot. Nice chunky thick wide necks. Veneer tops but look good. They feel better than other guitars in the price range. I pull the pickup...

Re: Fair price for a used 2555x

Thanks! I debated over spending the money and had moved on after a few days but the seller texted back to see if I was still interested and we worked it out. The cab clearly took a massive hit. I opened it up last night and saw all the previous damage. It was repaired as good as I would do it though...
