Do i need to go high end and get a $2000 unit of could i just settle with a PreSonus HP4 or something similar?

Here it says that you cant use this unit as a controller; only an interface.

Is this true and if so, why? it seems like you could totally use it for that purpose......

How would i set this up? could just plug 2 XLR cables into my CI2 USB interface into the main L and R outputs?

Id rather get this one unit than the CMC controllers or a Mackie Universal Controller and an interface when i already have an interface with 2 inputs.

i had a friend once who broke off the headstock of 6 of his guitars and repaired them all with superglue. i dont know how he did it but he made it work like new again with freakin superglue hahaha
