If you have your tone capacitor wired to the middle lug of the volume pot of said pickup, you should not be noticing treble roll-off when lowering the volume, just less gain. Very cool! I like your new drummer. And that second song really had some Nirvana sound to it IMO.

I'll admit there's a cool factor to the band getting back together (although with no Anthony). I have never seen Van Halen, or Van Hagar, but everyone I've talked you that has pretty much says what Surf says above. I'm just glad I can pop in some old VH albums and rock out in my car.

That Granger sounds tempting IMO....of course if you came across a great playing Gibby, I wouldn't pass that up either. If there weren't any guitars I bonded with around your area, I'd definitely go for an amp.

It won't affect me, as I prefer to buy at my local mom and pop shop, Randee's Music. They're a Gibson dealer, too! I use Guitar Center as a demo place, then go to Randee's. Hey Guitar Center............... !!!!!!!
