Curious - is yours the DSL1? Just saw the effects send portion of the equation. I've a JTM1 and am concerned I might get that buzz you reference.

Thanks for the report! I've used my Class 5 combo as amp B at gigs. Amp A is a brown Fender Deluxe, or an AC15. Early tests are encouraging. After checking with THD on whether or not this would work, and getting the go-flight, I was still worried they would even fit. Very intriguing... Cld the head and 4x12 cut it at a smaller gig?

Has anyone tried 5881 power tubes in their Haze head? If not, can anyone tell me if this is something that would even work?

Didn't want to risk the 5881's, so went NOS 6V6 and NOS for the #1 preamp slot. Works for me!

I just dropped off my cab for an impedance selector switch. Can't wait to give the 5 a whirl through a 2x12.

But, I gotta say, the stock 10 does have its own magic.
