Well , here's the scoop. The amp is now fixed. Turns out 2 tube sockets were cooked as well. Melted. Part of the board was fried as well. Remember , there was a powersoak involved , a guitar cable ( instead of a speaker cable ) , and looks like there was a 6 amp fuse in it , instead of a 1 amp fuse....

Marshalls and (most amps i guess) have kind of a dip in the midrange on it´s frequenzie curve. When you engage the mid boost on the VM you kind of even out that dip so you get a more straight curve. I will mention it to my tech. I don't know for sure. I know HE was surprised. He told me he tested it and it was a dead short. Can you add any insight ? ( BTW , I'm loving my VM ) nice job !

Funny , ....... I use my VM in HDR all the time , and it isn't noisy in the least. Im leaving the Detail around 3:00 too. This amp is quiet.
