I've got the Line 6 G30 system... did a head to head with a cable prior to buying it (my own custom cable - Canare wire & switchcraft fittings) & there was negligable difference in signal quality for me... Scored a 6100LM recently, love it except for one thing - it has a hum (electrical sounding) when switched on, even with nothing plugged into the input or fx loop. HT dual green channel is awesome, the red channel adds diode distortion & sounds like pox !!
The HT Boost is def the go

I prefer mine longer (too long according to anyone who plays my guitars, but I am 6'3".... when the guitar's above waist height I feel cramped up / tensed up.
