Re: Fixing a Marshall MA reverb tank

yes, very easy to fix the problem on your own though it seemed to happen is mass quantity, and even though i did fix it, i unplugged my reverb tank anyway and used digital reverb, i like it better anyway, plus this fixed the POP noise when switching channels on this amp.

Re: NAD Satch JVM

Easily the best amp I've ever tried and owned. Not for everyone obviously but simply slays for my purposes. I play in a cover band and there isn't a tone I can't get, simply amazing head. Period!! Takes a while to dial in but well worth it. :jam +1 i just got this amp about 2 weeks ago, great amp. ...

Re: Preamp Tubes Help

wait, you had a blown preamp tube and you was still able to play it ? i believe there was a thread on here somewhere talking about tube rattle, but i thought it was with the combos, though i could be wrong. Ive never had that issue on mine, though i have a 50w Head with a cab. In time with this amp,...

Re: MA power switch change

I replaced mine. i believe i used a jcm 800 red rocker. 4 pin.
its been awhile since i did it, i think you have to connect the wires to the bottom of the switch instead of the top.
no problems on it fitting right in.

4 CM ?

is anyone running a multi fx using the 4 cable method ? I have a old boss gt-3 that i use for delay/chorus/reverb mostly. I was running a ds-1 for a clean boost in the front of the amp and was using a ge-7 also just to shape a little but i figured id try out this gt-3 using the 4cm. I know how to ho...

Re: Ma50C room temp?

i like to leave mine in standby in breaks. I usually try to get the tubes warmed up atleast 20 to 30 minutes before playing. If just messing around at home then i dont worry about it, id probably turn it off if taking a break for an hour, but if ur recording or playing a gig then id say leave it in ...

Re: Hey all

hi thephantum

The MA is a good amp, i have had zero problems with mine. Takes a little time to get it tweaked in but thats true with most amps anyway. You can't go wrong for the money, plus you have to trust the Marshall brand and know they wouldnt produce something they didnt believe in.

My reverb tank was the same exact way on my head after i got it home. A simple solder job and that fixed it up.

Re: newbee with mains switch question

Hi washburn, I put white piping on mine also and installed a red glow switch. You have to put the 2 wires that where originally installed on the top of the stock switch and move those 2 to the bottom of the red glow switch, in the same order, and then move the 2 that where on the bottom of the stock...
