JJ's wont short, the base is not ground, but there are other brands that will, I removed mine with no problems and put the overhead spring type on.

I have the combo as well and when I want clean I put the master on 10 and then dial in the preamp.

What guitar/pu are you using, Zac uses EMG which can be as you put it Sterile.

You could convert the combo into a head and then buy you 4x12 or buy 4 new 8ohm speakers get an empty 2x12 cab and wire them both up in series then you could plug them both in.

What's in the box on the right side in the middle with what looks like a 6 six string behind the MARSHALL, can't see any other marking.

Marshall pair these two speakers in the JVM 2x12 cab and the JVM410 Combo, and they do work well together. These were tested over hours and other combinations were tried, but these were the best. They wouldn't have done it if it sounded bad. I had the 410c. Al I don't think the Heritage speaker use...

It has 2 loops, the first is a serial/parallel FX loop with a dry/wet control when turn to 100% wet it is a serial loop, this loop is also controlled by the front panel/footswitch button. the other is called the amp loop a 100% serial and has a bypass button on the back. The JVM205H is a great amp.

I think you will be blown away with that cab. I just picked one up too and they are great. I paid 169 and it's beat up a little, yours looks great. The JMD has a MF preamp #12 Detuned. Drop it down Crank it up!

Of all the speakers I've tried with my C5H the Marshall/Celestion Wolverine speakers sound the best to me. I know these speakers get no love but they tame the beast. But you run it thru the BadCat and I don't have one.
