Re: JTM100 Black Flag

You don't jumper the inputs? Hm, i'll have to try that with my 87X. Nop. There's some sort of crosstalk between the channels. What happens is you use the low channel as main channel. Then you turn up the high channel and that will add some really sweet highs. Not the piercing shreeking highs when y...

Re: JTM100 Black Flag

A view of the amp when I'm recording and as I normally use it in the rehearsal room and live. The Captor and Two Notes' WoS work excellent.

Re: JTM100 Black Flag

Your track sounds great. That is a lot of gain for a JTM, what pedal are you using? I'm using a TS9 into a Strymon Riverside. Actually the TS9 is only used to control the low-end and add some definition in the attack and the Strymon's gain is only at about halfway, but I'm slamming the Marshall's i...

Nice! My first proper amp was that exact model. Really nice sounding amp. Just not loud enough. Or rather, Dutch drummers are too ridiculously loud!

JTM100 Black Flag

Still going strong. I know. I haven't been here for too long. It's just that two bands and recording, family obligations etc... take too much time. :winking Here's a little sample of a song I'm working on. Using my Black Flag here. https://soundcloud.com/blokkadeleider/facesofblack-intro Gr, Gerrit.

Re: in honor of Sigi

Looks good! :D Coming weekend I'll have a bite at a Polish restaurant in Gronau just over the border though. If I can control myself I'll make pictures before I start eating... German food is great. Polish food is better! Gr, Gerrit. I'm working on Hungarian stuffed cabbage rolls right now. :Thumbs...

Re: The CODE has landed in the UK

Thanks... So another modelling system... But you have to buy hardware and software pluggins... How does that compare to helix, axe fx and kemper? Without trying the amp myself I am pretty sure that the Marshall profiles in your Kemper will sound much closer to the real thing then the Code. I have a...

Re: NAD, Code50

Congratz , What is your first impression? Fender did not have very good marshall sounds on there mustang amps so i am really curious how the preset american clean wil sound. I will wait for the 100 watters. First i wanted a head and cab but the 2x12 looks so much like a 1962 bluesbreaker that i pro...

Re: NGD! LTD

so...did you cycle by Sigi's place? (the answer had better be yes)lol In fact, no. I passed by about 150km north from where he lives. And next time I visit him I promised I'd show him my Black Flag :) I had hoped to do so last autumn but the band took too much time. I hope to be able to go there in...

Re: NGD! LTD

The Kirk Hammett model. Nice. I nearly bought the Chris Broderick Jackson in white but it turned out to have a faulty FR bridge. Something must have been at work there. All my guitars were purchased in the following colour order: black, red, black, red, black etc... I'm not allowed to have a white g...

Re: NGD! LTD

Those higher end LTD's are nice. They had three of this exact model at the store where I bought it. Only this one was excellent. The two others weren't really that great. They also had this sweet PRS which was unfortunately several times beyond my budget... As usual I skipped the Gibson department....

I've been busy playing with my band lately so I had little time for forums and stuff. Went on holiday for three weeks cycling through Germany and Poland and back. Arrived home again on thursday and found something sweet at the candy store yesterday :bgrin An LTD H-1007 Deluxe. http://cdn.ipernity.co...
