Just wondering is it ok for me to run my JMD 50 straight into the PA with the recording out in standby or does a speaker load have to be connected anyway?

Most likely a bad power tube. Get a new set and try them

I wouldn't worry too much...I've had valves last years without a problem...My VM Kt66's are from 2007 and I don't even know how old the 5881's in my JMP are haha. All still kicking

Sometimes it's really easy to spot a blown valve. Other times it's next to impossible without testing it

As the title says...I recently wired one of my early 70's cabs with Goodman speakers from 4 Ohm's to 16 Ohms but the readout from the multimeter is 12 Ohms...Is it safe to run?

Also does anyone have any info on the Goodman Audiom 12P speakers. Are they rare?
