Lighted switches

I have decided to mod my JMD501 combo. Simple mod: changing the black switches to ones that light up when engaged. The power switch RED was easy. DONE. The stand by switch ORANGE does not work as I want it (not lighting up when taking flipped down). No, it is not damaged. 1. I have tried the same co...

Re: JMP-1 to trigger lights

That's genius!
Did you come up with it yourself? You deserve Nobel Prize for simplicity.

Thanks a bunch. That idea may open other doors to more tweaking. Damn you! ;-)

Once I get the Randall RF4 (already on order) and Arudino board from Australia, I will put it together.

Re: JMP-1 to trigger lights

I think, that I know where you're going with this.
The LEDs come on when channels switch.
I can piggyback to LED through Arudino inputs to control relay that will turn on and off the light.

Is that it?

Re: JMP-1 to trigger lights

leds?
You mean LED lights?
or 1/4" jacks that could be used to plug in single footswitch to control parameter?

Re: JMP-1 to trigger lights

Just looking at the board (that I bought just now using link from you), it seems that I attach the power to the blue relays that act as a simple switch when they receive signal from input. ...but how do they read MIDI signals from JMP MIDI out? (or from 11R) MIDI uses only two cables to transmit the...

Re: JMP-1 to trigger lights

I got all confused with info on the net (does not take much ;-).
If yours works OK, would you be able to send me or publish some pictures?
Maybe even step by step instruction?

Re: JMP footswitch with MIDI?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will find out about 11R and USB controller. They're much cheaper than MIDI. In the mean time I have ordered Randall RF4 from lamusic.ca (about 4 weeks ago). They are still waiting for them to arrive from supplier before they send it to me. I would have cancelled the ord...

Re: JMP footswitch with MIDI?

The thing is that I like the simplicity of 4 buttons and I am selling the JMP-1 (by the way $500 plus shipping with footswitch) I also have FCB1010 and Controll 8 foot controllers (by the way: available for sale), but would much rather have a simple 2 or 3 button midi footswitch to control 11R. Play...

JMP footswitch with MIDI?

Is the 4 button footswitch that comes with JMP-1 MIDI? I would like to use it with Eleven Rack. The pins don't match, but I can probably build an adapter with external power supply. Something where you can plug in MIDI cord on one end (coming from 11R), power supply to get the LEDs going, and the or...

Re: 100W solid state blowing the speakers?

With the new speakers (250W x 2), and the amp at 70% volume, I was able to outscream DSL100 with 4x12.
The gig was a blast. I was just a bit surprised to finally hear myself ;-)

Re: 100W solid state blowing the speakers?

So, I got the speakers. Eminence OEM model normally installed in Yorkville P.A. systems. They are 250W each and 4 ohm which allows me to use the power amp at its full power if need be (2x130W). They sound very good. I am using the modulation out from JMP-1 to SLA1. Have tried mains out. They sounded...
