Re: Restock 2466 on the way!

Update, played my first gig with it, smaller sized bar with patrons feet away drinking at the bar. Was afraid I was going to be unable to aquire the needed amp volume to make the playing fun- want the amp to be toneful, etc and sometimes that's not possible at lowered volume without pedals. No worri...

Re: Restock 2466 on the way!

I dont know, will the 10 watt head handle the 25's?
What's your favorite delay for the loop? My Fuchs sucks through the loop and it's not designed for the front end, nice...arrgh..

Re: Restock 2466 on the way!

Sorry about the confusion on the loop..I was saying the loop on my DSL (actually the 1923 anniversary for Jim's B-day) has the loop issue problem...not sure if its the loop or my effects..I find that when I plug in any of my delay pedals that there is an instant significant volume drop..it's not the...

Re: Restock 2466 on the way!

That's the common issue I see, the 425 Cab is the shiznit for the VM..I wonder if they are done with producing those as well..any ideas if the 425 cabs are discontinued?

Do you use the loop?

Restock 2466 on the way!

Well, here it comes. from MF..the positives on this board have convinced me to buy one of the top 5 Marshall's ever..$ at 879.00, I don't think I can go wrong..The fact that it is being phased out made me pull the trigger...Gonna start running it with my 1936...see how it mates..Thoughts?? How is th...

Re: Haze 15 Tube question

Eh..I dumped it..Just not for me..Couldn't get the clean tones & dirty tones dialed in with the shared eq..I think the haze 40 would be more suited for me, if there was a head version. Haze sounded plinky at low volumes, bass was mushy, treble too dark on dist channel, or too bright on channel 1 wit...

Re: Haze 15 Tube question

Thanks for the reply. Its gonna be cranked most of the time !! For more fun, I have a 50 watt 1923 head and a 100 watt JMD-1 ..The haze is for the really small bars! Time will tell..haven't gigged with her yet, but looking forward to a simple set up. Me, my guitar, my haze, a Marshall 1936 2x12 or m...

Re: Haze 15 Tube question

Thanks for the advice! As for tubes, it's got your favorites in the preamp, JJ's! The glass on the power tubes was wiggly from the base when I got it..Wasn't sure how long term those stock Shugangs would last as they seemed really shoddy so I changed the power tubes upon arrival with Chinese Ruby's....

Haze 15 Tube question

Just purchased a Haze 15 head and love it's light weight and sound! Was wondering if changing some preamp tubes would brighten up the crunch channel a bit. Would anyone know which preamp tube does what in this amp? Would it be possible to brighten up the crunch channel but leave the clean channel st...

Thanks..PS, just bought a Diamond compressor for the front end..really beefs things up in a good way!P.P.S..go easy on me, I'm a guitari...

Re: BIAS

Fer sure, as I am learning..cheap charlie here! would have been better off ordering from Doug's or straight from JJ, but I remember liking the old Svets back when I had a 30th anniv. combo, so for the $, I figured I'd give then a shot..seems like they are a low draw or something which I am out of my...

Re: BIAS

Hi Guys..new to the forum. Had an original Chinese stock Marshall el34 tube burn red and blow a fuse in my head.. so, just received a set of Svetlanta el34's for my JMD 100 from Musicians friend, $52.99 a quad, well, its worth a shot..I thought. I can only get them up to about 63mA with the pots cra...

Re: Does it play well with OCD's?

I use a Fulltone Fat Boost in front of it. Like an american express, won't leave home without it! Crank the master of the JMD to around 6 or 7 to get the tubes crankin, then kick on the fat boost for solos or just to thicken or give the amp a bit more thump or pop.. Gives me the creamy sustain I lik...
