Effects Loop and Volume

Is it possible to run one of these little jobbies through an effects loop on a Marshall and use it as a master volume for thin walled apartment won't wake the baby or piss off the neighbors levels?

Re: New white 1 watters stacks???

Cute, but too tiny. Those have got to be 8" or 10" speakers right? Plus, I'm sure they're cheapies, ie.e; particle board not birch. The better bet is to have your own nice quality, good size 1x12" cab(s) built for a couple hundred bucks. There are makers that will build them with Marshall grill clo...

Re: jmp1 bass mods

The head version, which speaker have you found that resolves the bass issue? I use it both with Scumback H75 and M75 1x12's. The cabs are stagecraft with oval back holes and are a little larger and deeper than an average 1x12 cab. I mean it's not bass heavy by any means but you don't always want a ...

Re: jmp1 bass mods

Are you guys talking about the combo version? because with the head version, the right cab/speaker combo resolves the bass issue

Yeah. I thought since the speakers are 16 ohms that I needed to use the 8ohm out since it's going to two speakers. Is that not correct? I didn't want to use the 16 ohm out thinking doing that might hurt something.

Using two 1x12 extension cabs with the 1 watt heads

I have two 1x12 extension cabs each w/a 16 ohm speaker. I connected them to my 1 waters with a Weber Y connector cable. Since they're 16 ohm speakers I used the 8 ohm output. The sound was all wrong...small and thin. Something was wrong, but I had it set up right didn't I?

Re: Bass & the JTM-1, The magic Ingredient ! ! !

I have that same question also. I'm wondering if it's even possible that we'd ruin our guitar speakers given that we're playing through a 1 watt amp, or on the .10 setting, & keeping the volume around 3.

Re: Bass & the JTM-1, The magic Ingredient ! ! !

What is this doing that makes it better than plugging into the amp direct? Also, using the JTM1 as a bass head, aren't you running into clean headroom issues?

Re: Another great use for the JTM-1

cool. so it's not going to hurt the amp by running a bass into it? How about the speaker? I'm guessing it's not a good idea at full volume, but how about on the 1 watt setting? I'm using an extension cab w/scumback greenbacks

Re: Marshall picture of the day.

It's supposedly the same circuit. Does that mean the guts are exactly the same as the JTM1, or will this offset version have higher-grade components, etc.?

Blackmore/classic Deep Purple = JTM, imo.

You shouldn't be able to. Angus and Malcolm have always played JTM era Marshalls and clones. JMP Superleads are about as modern as they've gotten if I'm not mistaken.
