tubes came today. Fitted with the minimum of fuss. Absolutely loving the self biasing. Havent had a chance to crank the amp as of yet thats tomorrow.

Hey, I've got the chance to pick up JJ 6550s have you went for the EL34s simply as a cheaper option? Although only one fault light is showing would you think it wise to just replace all the tubes so as they are matched? It's my first all tube amp and I've been absolutely dreading this happenin'.
