Re: Chambered v Non - tone

I honestly don't know if mine is chambered or not. Don't care. I think people on some forums tend to make big deals out of nothing just to make themselves feel important. If there is any tonal difference it is so slight that it really shouldn't factor into your purchase. Yes, they are all a little d...

Re: Strat set up....and suggestions?

Surf is right. I've learned how to do my own setups, maintenance & modification work on my guitars and amps. YouTube is a great place to start and there is more than enough information on the net to answer your questions.

Re: Possible Strat Purchase - Looking for Opinions

Very hard to tell anything from those pictures, but I think you have the right idea. If it plays nice and sounds good then who really cares anyway. $350, even $400 is a great price for a nice Strat.

Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master

Delay & reverb in one pedal. I just might have to pick this one up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=963wRp...

Re: Where I've been lately

I'm sure you already know that Cry of Love's Audley Freed (a VERY under rated band & guitarist IMO) was in the Crowes for a short time.

Re: Where I've been lately

That really is a shame. The Black Crowes really are one of my favorite bands. Saw them live last year and it was one of the best shows (performance wise) I think I've ever been to. Unforunately, most people only know their early hits. The stuff they've done recently (Warpaint & Before the frost...) ...

Re: Get ready to laugh - Band drama story

That is why my band STILL has no singer. :hah

What about starting "your" band with the remaining bassist & drummer?

Re: Dunlop power Brick

For some reason many people don't seem to like the Brick. I now use a 1-spot since I don't use many pedals and have limited space on a very small board, but I used to have a huge pedalboard and used the Brick for years with no issues whatsoever.

Re: Buying a Les Paul

The Custom Shop Les Pauls are great guitars. Whether it is worth the cost or not is purely up to you.
For the record, the Traditionals (at least the few I've played) are very nice also.

I had one for a while. Definitely my favorite in the stock Ibanez/Maxon Tube Screamer family.

Re: Guess which amp

Well, the Fargen sounded great to me. The best of the four.
The JMD1 sounded digital. Sorry, it did to me.
The VM sounded very good (second best). The only one of the four I have owned. I "recognized" the tone.
The TSL sounded harsh and modern.

So, yea, I guessed. :shredder
