Re: Is the VM still around???

My guess is a lot of people have a tough time paying so much for an one-channel amp. I think it's a spectacular amp, and I love mine, but my guess is that, excluding boutique amp buyers, amp buyers expect two or more channels out of any amp that costs over $1,000 US. I have to agree. I have had my ...

Re: closest Super100JH alternative

I am very suprised that the Super JH100 isn't more popular than it is, or maybe I missed out on the buzz. It seems (at least at this point) the YJM100 is more of a sought-after amplifier in terms of a good 'Plexi's' than the Super JH100. Correct me if I am wrong BTW....I get an amazing Hendrix tone ...

You are on the right Trip! JTM 45/100 are "THE TONE". The best is, you have both. (Hendrix and Townshshend)
I don´t know where you are located, but in Germany is a Townshend-Stack (Dual Output)aviable.

I thought about it at first, but I actually like it the way it is. If anything I'd put powerscaling on it so I don't have my neighbours telling me to "Shut the fuck up" :slash

Re: Slash amps on the road

The 3 afds on stage are actually fake, just head cabinets and LEDs there's a vid on YouTube that confirms it, they are just there as the audience expects to see Marshall stacks. His current set up is an AFD blended with a jcm800 reissue that's rebiased for 6550s, that was based on the rig Chet haun...

Re: I'm back...and I have my VM2466..finally!!

This amp sounds absolutely amazing, I can pretty much get (or very close to) any sound that I am looking for. I pretty much just change the settings and guitars to get whatever sound I want, and since my four guitars have different pickups in it. That saves me from investing in a EQ.
