There were a few runs that had x-formers with the lower voltages that was changed after to higher voltages. The real question is do you like the sound of the amp you have? If so i wouldn't worry about any of that other crap. Some guys get way too caught up in this nit picking about individual parts...

While no one has mentioned this yet, there are differences in plate voltages from the earliest ones to the newer ones. My 1981 4104 has a plate voltage( depending on how I bias it) from 370-390. Here's some shots I took of some caps I took apart while doing a replacement on my 4104. The new one was dented when I got so I decided to cut it open to see the difference. The left one is the 35yr old one the right one is the new.
