Re: The Marshall Stack still rocks!

I suppose that either there's a new generation of rock music lovers in mainstream media or that because of the hard times, people feels now more attracted to the genre or to songs with that rock energy. Finnland's 6th place with a Nu-Metal song seems to be also an indication. After the juries votes ...

Re: The Marshall Stack still rocks!

Both, the Marshall and Ampeg logos got blackened on the amps. But their sound will blast quite some ears tomorrow. Those young folks are kicking off a kind of rock revolution in Europe. Saturday evening, 180+ millions TV viewers and maybe a few shocked faces if they win that sort of contest by playi...

The Marshall Stack still rocks!

What you see is a live performance and the guitar sound is from a Marshall Stack.

Watch the song starting at 2:35 - very classic Marshall rock sound.

Re: TC Electronic PLETHORA X5 TonePrint Multi-FX Pedalboard

Great unit they made!

It covers all the parallel effects you could need on the board and just in case there's a loop for other pedals.

Re: Lack of Volume...

You don't provide much information to see a possible cause. For example, which device connections are connected together and with what type of cable? Is there an unbalanced cable connected to a balanced connection? Is the output of each device set to provide the right amount of signal to the next one?

Re: Sound isolation and absorbtion

May I reccomend you to research first about the difference between sound absorption/diffusion and sound insulation. That may save you from spending for something that won't get you to your target. Reading about this topic you may notice that your intention of running a loud tube amp on high decibel ...

Re: Best overall speaker for the Marshall 50th anniversary serie

Like it was said maybe try to expand your choice of cabs/speakers if you can. For example, a T75 paired with the JVM or DSL amp is a solid choice for heavier tones. Regarding the T652 Alnico speaker it's really paired well with the JTM145 indeed. If you're looking for it I'd try to get the CSJTM145C...
