[flash=][https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ5K4T78_5Y/flash] https://soundcloud.com/jeffsmusic4919/blackened-rock My newest track that I recorded with out vocals or a guitar solo. You can use the attached to pratice soloing if you wish. I would really like to hear a solo at the two minute chorus. I h...

Re: Astoria Custom blowing valves

I believe these have issues with the hum balance pot. Steve calls them the humdinger. I am not sure if these cause blown fuses or not?

I hope everybody is having a nice and happy Thanksgiving today. And let there be time for playing guitar and anything else you may enjoy doing this long weekend for some of us.

Re: A cool Italian amp

Nice video demonstration, it is very Marshall sounding. There really is something about non-master volume amps that really can't be replicated.

Some Input From Forum Members

Thank you for reading this. I am looking to get into a pro semi/pro studio soon with semi/pro level musicians and do a live recording with overdubs. I am not super sure which song to do first. This will hopefully be a charity fund raiser after breaking even for a retired musicians medical/retirement...

Re: I just can’t warm up to the 425A

After having my 425A for about a year now, I agree with most of what you wrote here. I will say though that playing with all the treble settings on zero, including the detail and presence should be enough to tame the high end, These speakers to me sound a bit more like the 75 watters with more high ...

Tora Tora - Surprise Attack

The end songs of side one and side two. Being a sucker for ballads, these are my favorites off this album. I enjoy the chord progressions most, the vocal melodies are pretty good too. Re: Tonex and Marshall 50ths

Nice, I realized you can MIDI the pedal an add a bigger control surface. I would be even more interested in buying a hardware unit if they add an extra set of ins/outs for routing signals through an effects loop. With that said. the current setup can be used as a preamp already so, it probably won't...

Re: Tonex and Marshall 50ths

Nice, a modeller for pedals now. If they had one made bigger, with more switches, I might be game for this. All in one pedal boards usually have to many limitations for me, mostly because of lack luster overdrive sounds though.

Re: Musikraft Neck Arrived

This looks very nice. I might opt for some light staining on mine if possible. I don't think they offer edge rolling. I might consider that as well, thank you for sharing. BTW, that is defintely is a one piece neck, they do offer them. These are my personal favorite, looks wise anyway. I think the t...

Re: Marshall reissue classic pedals

I have been using the Shred Master since '92 or so. Tried many others and no other really compare. I tried to by a vintage Drive Master to replace it and it is broken. Early Fall I started to build and paint a Gov'ner clone, that was a fail so far. I have had a Blues Breaker clone on my board for mo...

Thanks for posting. I wasn't able to find any brand that does 7.25 radius and truss rod adjust by the tuners. This solves that problem. :Thumbs

Re: Les Paul Gurus? Some help Needed

Thanks for all of the suggestions with this. I ended up with Schaller Mini M3 90. The mini tuners fit with 10mm tuning peg. Also the foot print of the tuner fits within the foot print of the Kluson style. No markings or shadow of an old tuner if switched back and no drilling needed for the mounting ...
