Re: Seymour Duncan - Whole Lotta Humbucker

Balanced tone is always better. Why the comparison to the 59s over the Seths int the video?

Re: Not Much Two Rock Love Around

I dig the two rock model in my Fractal Axe Fx II. More Marshall soundind with more girth in the solo type notes very piercing in a good way! Out of 75 very authentic sounding amps to choose from this is in my top 5!

Re: Seymour Duncan - Whole Lotta Humbucker

How you think these would compare the the Seth's? Why do you think they compared them to the 59s over the Seth's?

More Bonamassa licks

Not so much in lesson format but since a few were interested this is really my way of keeping track of cool new licks. Some feel in it, but mostly some shredding type stuff -not all blues has to be slow pentatonic position one stuff!

Re: Joe Bonamassa 5/1 Pentatonic patterns

I never really was into Bonamassa until I heard him mix the feel with the rippin stuff like this. I come from a Vinnie Moore, Randy Rhoads shred type background but have morphed my my style more towards classic rock. However, I still like a flurry of notes that are tasty of course, and these pattern...

Re: Seth Lover pup question

Thanks guys! No it's an AXE Fx II by Fractal using a Plexi pre set. The Evh crunch channel does a killer Marshall tone too! I just put Ecc81 tubes in slots v2,3,4 to lower the gain in ch3 and it is now useable and excellent. Ch 3 off the shelve is waaaay too much even coming from a former 80's metal...

Joe Bonamassa 5/1 Pentatonic patterns

Hope someone finds this helpful. I wish someone would have shown me these 30 years ago. Played with a Les Paul traditional with Bonamassa signature Duncan pups and an Axe Fx II with a Marshall Plexi type pre set and RCF monitors

Seth Lover pup question

I have a LP Traditional that I put Joe Bonamassa Duncan pups in and love it. I have a 2nd LP -an Axcess Lifeson and after getting my ears so accustomed to the warmth and clarity of the Joe B pups I am not diggin the 498T's in the Lifeson so much. I do not what to drop another 375$ for a 2nd set of J...
