Sounds a lot better... A valve change is on my list... My DSL1 has two years of almost daily use, and at high volumes... I don't catch any difference at sound by know, but you know they lose tone very very slowly... Do you think guys I would need a change? I'd change'em out for a new set, its almos...

Thanks guys! I'd recommend the tung-sol upgrade, the amp sounds great now. It's smoother, has less fizz and very quite while idle. I wasn't super happy with the DSL1 when I got it, the ultra channel just wasn't doing for me so I bought a couple bogner pedals. Now I'm really diggin it, its my 4 chann...

Full set of tung-sols, broke them in all this week...my amp has never sounded better!

I also didn't like the pedal at first, but that was because of the amps I tried it with. I cut the bass because I prefer to keep the deep button engaged on the DSL1 and that adds a lot of body and thump (I keep my bass on the Ecstacy red totally off). BTW, do you find it a little harsh when you get the treble up past about 6 or so on the dial??? It's not so bad through my bigger amps, but through the clean channel of my DSL-1H, it can be a little harsh sounding IMO.... I agree, I always keep mine around 9:30 - 10 o'clock and its nice and smooth....

Great clips minerman! I can't get enough of my Bogner pedals through the DSL1, they sound so f**kin good with it.

Its hard to describe...they both sound very different, the red just seems a little more crunchy and saturated.

Thanks acidvoodoo, and you are right, I need more gain! perhaps I'll get the whole set, blue as well as uberschall just for the DSL. Have you tried V30's? I liked that setup, but I haven't tried greenbacks with it. I'll try the T75 next. Thanks for the advice, my local dealer has them all. Al Belie...
