I'm a rosewood guy, a little lemon oil and it darkens right up. Beautiful.

I've also added graphite to the nut slots during string change and fretboard oil, helps with keeping a solid tune with no binding.

4x12 with your 1 watter would be worth your while, and if you really have an itch for a bigger amp, the YJM is the only one you should look at.
