the JVM was “too” versatile for me to the point I spent more time pressing buttons and turning knobs than playing.
Yah, I know what you mean.
My main amp is a 6101 and recently I picked up a JTM30. I am sooooo loving the simplicity.

Re: Sigi to close the museum

Thnx for the info Surf.
I can't even begin to image life not being able to play guitar. Especially after what Sigi put together.
Wow. Life is what happens when you are making plans.
Be well gang.

Sigi to close the museum

Wow, just found out that Sigi has closed the museum.
The web site stated health reasons.
OMG what's to happen to the collection?
Hope Sigi will be all right enough to carry on a bit further. I turn 65 today and feel his pain.
Best wishes Sigi....

Re: NAD DSL1C

Nice! I still have the collection. In this day of attenuators on everything I still find the 50ths the best thing going for home volumes. I use mine all the time. My JMP1C and JTM1C stay permanently connected for wet/dry. Nice, I keep my JVM1H plugged into a 2X12 right next to my computer and the s...

Any of those would work but the uncompensated/fx return would color the sound the least.
Ha! don't need it louder want to color it as much as possible . . . .
Using the 1 watter as the OD pedal . . .
Let you know how that works out . . .

Re: NAD DSL1C

Looks to be in good condition, congratulations Oh yes, only a few little scuffs. Got a smokin deal on this one. Do those have a line out? If so you could run that into the 6101's second loop return for some 100w fun. Ok, never thought to try that. So go into the uncompensated link in or FX return? ...

NAD DSL1C

Well, even though many people consider Craigslist to be dead, checking in paid off this week. The guy posted the amp as a 50th anniversary 1 watter for the price of a current DSL1 and posted a stock shot of the current production model. After some back and forth turns out it was a true 50th. (For th...

Re: 6101 6100 Speaker Impedance switch

What i am curious about is why the factory did this? Makes me wonder how the OT's in 6100's are wired under the bell caps? I am gonna pull one off tonight and take a look but from measurements they seem to have all three taps available. Thnx Pete. I came across a similar post on the 6100/6101 threa...

Re: 6101 6100 Speaker Impedance switch

Hi Pete,

Thnx for the quick response.

I think I'm in the right place, here is a little vid that I made of the black/green wires run from the impedance switch to the transformer.
