i sent a email using the marshall'site and I sent a letter directly to the headquarters of the company.
I think the letter was more efficiant...
they sent me for free repair kit (it is a known problem that has been fixed) but it must be set up by a professional preferably.

Replacement kit was send by Marshall england. It's free. And now it's over!!! No problems

Hello I Just want to Know if your amp is repair with the kit replacement and if You Never the same pb. My tech repair my amp 3 Times in two years and it's always the same pb. Ic5 on fx board. He ask to Marshall dealer in France and they said that a replacement kit doesn't exist... I don't understand...

Hello, My Yjm has again the same problem! I just have him(it) to disconnect more to reconnect, made an autobias and later I have a rotten sound. Completely I just have a clear sound (rather ettouffé) without distortion... The ampli did not go out of the room This time the ampli is not any more under...

I have just taken back my amp from repair so i do not want to test right now :)

pût a voltage spike protection before the electric plug could fixed the problème with the components which doesn ´ t like voltage spike ? No?

Thank you very much for your answer! It is a problem of conception(design) and it is not reassuring for the reliability of this ampli in the time... Maybe that it is better to take a hand-made amp... But it´s a good amp so it´s a cruel dilemme!
