Rotary preamp knob

I turn my Amplifier on and found that my rotary knob was making noises between the preamp notches. The rotary works on the four channels, but the manual channel is screwed up. It's like it's in between notches. Each notch is just dead but when you turn the knob you can hear a little bit of noise bet...

Re: Volume Pot

Thanks for the reply.

THE MARSHALL PART NUMBER IS POTP92001

Looks like A1M on top and @0A2 on the base. (the cap has nothing to do with it. Just the angle of the pic) It has 7 solder posts plus the soldered mounting posts on each side.

Thanks

Haze 40 Boost

Is there a way to add Pots to the boost circuits to increase or decrease gain on either or both of the boost circuits?? (Clean and drive). Thanks.

Re: Footswitch

Funny you should mention the Midi Buddy. I just bought one off Ebay a couple of days ago! Should be here any day! Anxious to try it out!

Re: Footswitch

Ok, I'm really just wanting to know from some mod guys if it can be done. I know not all people will/would be interested in doing it and I'm not asking everyone if they would like their switch that way, just if the wiring and switch can be done. I don't have any doubt I can make the switch with my f...

Re: Footswitch

No, I wouldn't be standing on the switch. I would press the two switches at the same time with my toe. Just like pressing one. The way it is now, you can be in switch mode or preset mode. The only way to go between the two is to stop, unplug the cord and plug it back in holding switch #1 down at the...

Re: Footswitch

Yes. I want to use the switch mode for the most part, but if need to pull up a pre saved patch I can switch modes with my foot and select the patch I need. Then if I want, I can switch back to the original mode....all done by my foot.

Re: Footswitch

No takers on this one?? Let me explain.....I want to know if I can cut the trace where the hot (tip) of the cable connects to the board trace and basically insert a footswitch between the hot tip and the pedal electronics. That way I can mount a footswitch over by #1 switch and disconnect the cable ...

Footswitch

Has anyone opened up the foot-switch to see how it is wired? My question is, can a person install an on/off foot-switch button to simulate disconnecting the cord to get the modes to change by using the foot-switch? I'd think that would be the same as unplugging and plugging back in. Thanks.

Re: Midi questions

So do you save it to a midi controller the same way you save it to the footswitch by getting the midi button blinking once then hold the midi button down and push the effect button on the amp within 3 seconds ???
