Re: New DSL5C video from Chris George

The Anderton's video definitely sounds better. Great playing all around though (as usual).

I bet a Ramrod or Red Fang would make a significant difference.

Re: NAD- DSL100H

Congrats! That's a really good price, right ?

This c19 cap mod - what is that, exactly & would it be the same for a DSL15H ?

Re: Ordered A DSL15H

Thanks for the good words.

I'm an electrician by trade & have modded several amps. Long as I have the right info I'm good to go.

So feel free, one & all, to share any thoughts/info/insight on this great piece of gear.

I agree with this on most of the video. Finally at the very end he took the deep switch out and (ironically) I thought it sounded more full. I only liked the ultra gain channel with gain below half though. Plus I think it needs a bigger speaker.

Ordered A DSL15H

From all I've read this amp seems like a good fit. For the most part.

A loop to have a bit of delay post-preamp would so ideal. The Metro & Iron Sounds loops appear to be among the best options out there. Can someone please point me in the right direction with regard to a schem ?

Re: Greetings. NAD SL-5.

surfnorthwest - thanks for the warm welcome & info. Much appreciated. gtrman - I hear you on drilling holes. Part of me does not want to do that & is why I'm also considering a Bad Cat Unleash. The BCU will also provide the extra volume live should it be needed. Speaking of volume - will this amp ha...

Greetings. NAD SL-5.

Totally digging this amp. First one in many a year where the amp's dirt is a good fit. I do like delay though & am considering the Metro Zero-Loss Loop kit. Anyone here go this route ? Are the amp & kit compatible ? Are there specific install instructions for this amp ? Any other insight you'd care ...
