Re: 2266C with two bias trim pots

Does the 2466 Vintage Modern have 4 individual bias pots? No, they were given one trim pot per pair. Hello Steve,....don't know if you are still visiting this forum but here's my question, just got a nice matched quad of KT66 Gold Lions to replace the JJ's that were in my 2466 amp but it seems that...

Re: Vintage Modern 2266 Bias clipping

https://i0.wp.com/www.tunanteandoguitars.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/p1110018.jpg There is a picture of the CON 10 and bias pot somewhere on the forum but I could not find it so the link here is supposed to be a shot of a 2266 combo which should be the same as the 2266 head. Got it Dave !!.........

Re: Vintage Modern 2266 Bias clipping

I am no tech but I have never heard of biasing that way. Don't you have to take the chassis out of its case to bias? There are instructions on thus topic in the Vintage Modern section. Lots of info from Steve D! Check that out. Warmth should not be a problem with this amp. The body and detail can m...

Vintage Modern 2266 Bias clipping

Hello guys ,...........just bought a mint 2266 head from an old man who got it new and used it for 10 hours max. It sounded cold a bit with shrill oscilating kind of cross over highs. So I took it to my tech ,.....put some Gold Lions in and he biased it through the effect loop return because he didn...

Hi guy’s !
I’m about to buy a 1991 900 4500 with EL34’s,
any idea how this guy gets thick juicy blues tone
similar to Gary Moore !?

Never thought a 900 could do this !

Thoughts please!
