Thanks for the really quick responses. I've been talking to my bass player since i posted that and we're really looking to see some slight quality so when we talked about a budget we don't really know what to expect but probably 700 to 1000$ we'll just have t get a second job maybe xD but that's ok ...

The reverb circuit is in parallel with the dry signal and is always receiving a 'sample' of the dry signal voltage. The footswitch grounds the signal path in that circuit (thus turning it off) and the reverb level control simply sets it to minimum which is zero return. So that means... who's right?...

Well if you turn your reverb to 0 then hit and mute a note and then quickly turn the reverb nob open you can hear reverb, so i Quess it is always on but i'm not quiet sure xD

maybe turn up the presence because i once heard that the high end will drop when you crank the volume but pumping up the presence knob will kinda compensate for that I do it too on my 2266C I have the presence at about 7/8
