Still in customs, I need an administrative document that It Iooks like never arrives. This will be a nightmare again.
I need It. To solve my anxiety I bought a JCM900 SL-X. A 2500 model from '93 with EL34. :bgrin

Good that you could try it… would have been a pain to be stuck with amp you do not like
Yeah! A 1400 euros amp without warranty, without serial numbers you must try It first.

Sad but I think you made the right decision.
It would probably cost a lot to sort out.

It was fun. It has vintage dinamics feel like a vintage amp. But It looks like It has bad mids on his sound. I don't have words to explain It. Maybe it's a simple thing to fix but I don't think so.

Re: 70's Marshall superbass

I played with It this afternon. I can disassemble it and see the codes on some components. I think it's a early '76 Superbass. It sounds and works fine but It don't sound very good. It don't sounds like Superbass from the Museum. It was replaced at least 5 components from pcb board. The master volum...

Re: 70's Marshall superbass

Catalonia is a small country, here everyone knows everyone. I have friends that know the seller. It is really impresive that he own a Superbass. I'm thinking this is a stolen amp. I'm not saying that seller has stolen it, but I want to know where he got it from and since when he has it. Let's see.

Re: 70's Marshall superbass

Next Monday I will try It. Let's see. I remember when I tryed some ones in the Sigi's heaven (Marshall Museum Germany). What a great memories! One from '74 and other one from '73 I think. Their serial numbers were very close but they sounded different from each other.

Re: Custom @ normal/high volume

Many thanks for your answers ! I will try your suggestion and i have also ordered a couple of brand new KT66,EL34 and a solid state rectifier. Let you know shortly what it does to sound. 70's Marshall superbass

Hi I don't know about vintage Marshall's. It seems like a 70's JMP but without rear panel (no serial number) and chassis tag. It is mod. Two extra holes. One extra hole is for a master volume. Does anyone know anything else? Thanks Marshall Plexi JMP SuperBass 100 http://p.wallapop.com/i/649384850?_...
