I've got the JTM1 working great with the Unleash now that I've setup my pedal board with two separate AC power sources, one for powering my FX pedals in the loop and one for my overdrives and wah, sounds KILLER :shredder

So I tried the loop again with just the Supernatural running on a battery and no screeching!

I guess I have to change the way I'm powering all my pedals. Maybe power my 3 FX loop pedals with there own AC power supply and the ones in front of my amp with there own supply.

Suggestions?

Well your right Aristotle, that was the first thing Bad Cat told me to try, patch the loop - no more screeching.

What I don't understand is why this setup has worked perfectly on every other amp I've had with a built in loop: JVM1, Marshall 3203, Orange #4, Triple Rec, Bogner Alchemist etc...

You may have a ground loop. As you turn up the volume in the 1 watt mode you are going over a volume threshold that causing the screech. Try one effects pedal at a time in the Unleash FX loop and plug everything into the same AC power strip (Amp, Unleash, FX pedals). Also trying using batteries wit...

Looks like the loop was the problem, I unplugged the send & return jacks and no more screeching.

Not to happy about that because that's what I got the Unleash for!
