Re: To much feedback with sv20-c

I had the head. I never used an attenuator with it so I can't comment on that. It sounds like you may have too much gain going. I didn't use an overdrive with mine. Cranked it had plenty on its own for me. Just remember, it's not going to have the headroom of your JTM45. You might want to back the a...

Re: NGD Heritage H150 Dirty Lemon Burst

Thanks again guys. I've also missed y'all. Your correct Al. I've never used SD 59s. They seem on the bright side but that's not a bad thing. It came strung with Elixer Optiweb strings so that could be part of it. I'll play on them for a bit and then try some NYXL. Action is lower than what I'm used ...

NGD Heritage H150 Dirty Lemon Burst

Been a while since I posted. My wife shocked me with this for my 56th birthday. I've never gotten a gift like this. We just don't go over the top so I was stunned. I'd only mentioned one in passing. I guess my first bicycle is about all I can think of that compares. Sounds fantastic. Has a snappy to...

Re: Turn to Stone

That tune still sets cranked whenever I hear it even after all these years. It's in my personal category.

Re: JTM45 20w/5w

Same here with multiple speakers powered by low wattage. Especially a 4x12 and the SV. There's a "hollow" character to the tone. Yeah it's bigger sounding but the speakers have no push to come to life. Even those matching 2x12s are rated at 140 watts with the V Types. I think speaker breakup is a bi...

Re: JTM45 20w/5w

I agree with both of you. On one hand I don't want to see the brand die out and I bought into the idea initially. In fact I'm sure I championed the idea here a few times even before they came out with the Mini Jubilee. That was until I used them in a live setting. I kept reaching for more and the SV...

Re: JTM45 20w/5w

They look good but aside from that I'm not going down that path again. Had the 2525H and SV20H with the 2x12s. Don't miss them. Looking back I enjoyed the Origin a lot more.

Re: Super Distortion article

Practically every replacement pickup I have or have used in the past were Dimarzio. My Les Paul, I've about had it with the Burstbucker 1 & 2. No snap and all mids. A scooped amp is about all it seems to work with. I have strongly considered Throbaks but the cost just bugs me. At this point in my pl...
