its not really a tube amp- if thats what u r lookin for. it uses digital tube technology in order to get all of those amps to fit into the one amp. Thanks for the info! I also want to add that I have also been recording direct from the emulated line out into pro-tools and I am highly impressed with the tone I get. I have used a few other amps that have line outs and the sound tends to be thin and almost fake sounding. The JMD really does it all!
