Agreed shouldn't happen on a $1.5k+ amp.... Simple solution though - if you normally run pedals in your loop then just set the output on an "always on" pedal a little bit higher than unity gain. Or buy a used Boss EQ pedal, run the EQ flat and boost the master output a little bit. Problem solved for...
