Re: The perfect match

Yngwie loved the Vintage Modern when he played it at the Marshall Theatre. All he plugged in was his DOD preamp and an NS-2.

Re: Moving Again

What a shame your original plan fell through Surf, that was a beautiful piece of land.

I'm sure Florida will be equally as idyllic and be the perfect place to spend the rest of your days.

I wish you all the best with the relocation and hope it's a smooth transition :Cheers

It is from the mains transformer.

It's one of the HT feeds.

Thanks Surf. It would be such a shame to see this place bite the dust after all these years. Long may it continue.

Re: Effects loop issues

Hello everyone and happy new year, I am new around here, Last year I got a second hand VM 2266 head, which I love, and until now I have been playing with the guitar connected straight to the amp. A few days ago I decided to try out some effects pedals and found that effects loop was not working. Af...

Re: Treble pot weird filtering !

But, back to the topic, I have exactly the same symptom with the loop. When it´s engaged, I get a very slight boost and the tone changes a bit. If I engage the +4db boost I get more gain (which is a bit expected to compensate signal loss). But should I get a slighly different tone (less brightness)...

Re: Treble pot weird filtering !

About R63 : 156v from "FX side" to ground and 416v ("HT"?) leg to ground. This means 240v accross which seems to be the difference. Remember those 237v ? FET3 : D = 128v / G = 90v / S = 154v Anything weird about this figures ? Thanks for all the support. It´s been very kind from you. Cheers I think...

Re: Treble pot weird filtering !

Hi Steve, I wonder if I have measured correctly the voltage at FET3. One probe to each FET pin and the other probe always to ground. :think I did this process 3 times, one for each pin. If this is the right procedure, then what could eventually cause this drop in voltage ? -A bad resistor in the po...

Re: Treble pot weird filtering !

If there's 237VDC at Pin 25 (R63) then there should be 237VDC at Pin 38 (fet 3 Drain). Something is evidently amiss.
