Re: JTM1 Jam

Ha thanks Eldin. The drums are ezdrummer 2, but yeah it was just thrown together without any thought. Just to keep me in time.
Hope you've been ok too.

Re: JTM1 Jam

Thanks T, still experimenting but I know where it needs to go.
It was so much fun getting back into recording and improvising.

JTM1 Jam

Hi guys, I'm just getting back into playing guitar after a two month break, just needed to recharge my batteries. Anyway I'm going finally write a classic rock album and this is me getting a feel for it. Amp is the JTM1 on about 6 for lead, using a G12H 55hz speaker, and an SE Ribbon mic. Guitar is ...

Re: How to Write a Melody

I agree, music should come from the heart, not from a mathematical equation. You can always tell when a guitarist is playing from the heart. I know my theory, but shred from the heart, and that's not easy, but as long as the theory and technique is well ingrained, you can call it up despite being lo...

Re: Roadhouse "Great Forum"

You're quite right Dana's Blues, Surf has run and paid for this forum for the past 13 years, and while other forums tend to have a few trouble starters, they don't last long here.
The people who stay tend to be mature, intelligent and fantastic people......like me.

Cool, most of your amps will benefit from this cab. The JVMs will love it.
Let us know how it works out for you.

Re: Marshall 1960B HW

It does get confusing with all different the G12H models. And to make it worse, the current Marshall website doesn't even say which exact version it is in the HW cab. But we have Sigi, so no need for the crappy Marshall web site.

Re: Marshall 1960B HW

Hi Roger, I love the HW cab with its G12h 55hz speakers.
But I'd go for a new one at that price.
Sigi uses the extra beef of the HW cab with his 900 to help it out.

Re: NAMM 2020 - Updates

That Jake E Lee amp is pure hot rod plexi, I wonder how it compares to the old Marshall RR plexi.

Re: New Tolex and Design for Studio Series

I like when Marshall do this. They did the same with the DSL40C a few years back. Looks great.

I think Marshall haven't raced to fill world demand for these amps and the SV model, and thereby demand is still strong.

Cool how much gain that amp has got. It seems to cover a lot of range for a classic amp.

It's not often that these shop workers know as much as we do. It's just a job to them, while for us its a passion.
