If you have a Sav-A-Lot near you you can buy Choice grade whole Ribeye's for $3.99 per lb. not that great a grade of meat but after trimming yourself & cooking it right.... this one was 16.62 lbs @ $66.00 got 6 steaks,2 general purpose roas...

Re: Finally tried a Code 50 locally

That's a great rig you have anyway BnC. thanks. it's kind of a pain to set up for live use & it's a lot to move but I seriously doubt I could replicate it tonally w/out going to something like a Kemper& spending all that money,& even then, it wouldn't smell like vintage 80's/90's rock & roll dust. ...

Re: Finally tried a Code 50 locally

I think you will find the 100 watt version very interesting over the combos. Attached to a good cabinet the amp should sound good. Those 100 watt heads should be available by next month from what I am told. ya know,I only had about an hour with it & I haven't even touched my gear in a month, not to ...

Finally tried a Code 50 locally

not that impressed. some good potential & yeah the standard factory presets sucked except for the JCM 800 everything else was trash through an ESP double cutaway w/ SD 'vintage" pups. granted, I'll have to try again w/ mush more time w/ MY LP, the Yammy 335 clone,Jackson HSS,& Fender Standard strat....

Re: Old(ish) Marshall in the Modern World

Hi, used it for 1 rehearsal and 1 gig and it performed faultlessly, as did the amp. The first time I powered the amp on after the gig, cutting a long story short, the output valves blew/flashover. Many thanks maybe something got knocked wonky in transit after the gig? what kind of tubes? (stand by ...

Re: in honor of Sigi

Looks good! :D Coming weekend I'll have a bite at a Polish restaurant in Gronau just over the border though. If I can control myself I'll make pictures before I start eating... German food is great. Polish food is better! Gr, Gerrit. I'm working on Hungarian stuffed cabbage rolls right now. :Thumbs
