I would imagine if you were a hot shit player or collector, the last thing you would want to do is drop $10k or more on a guitar, with some dumb fuck trying to play Sweet Child O Mine next to you, and hacking it all up. I would imagine Nashville would get some very high profile people in regularly.
Picking one is impossible, but one if my all time favorites is Whole Lotta Rosie, for both the playing style, and the Marshall tone. The tone in the Let There Be Rock album is just absolutely fantastic.
That Sean Connery letter is funny shit. Is that real? Connery probably would have made 10 x's more than Bond if would have brought that kick ass Scottish accent as a spokesman for the past 20 years or so.
I'm not a huge fan of 75's. I have all 3. I like V30's and Greenies best. In that order. I know others who play 75's and they sound phenomenal. Go figure.
I say this with all sincerity, as I am a Marshall fanatic. Both sounded good. DSL sounded better. Simple as that. Oh by the way, the Marshall looks way fucking more cool as well.
I saw one of these on Craigslist the other day. Still thinking about buying it. The ad said they upgraded the speaker to a veteran 30. I am not sure why they would do that when it came stock with a V30.
