Re: Why I sold it !???

Had a great time with my Vintage Modern for a few years. One of the best rigs I've owned. Fantastic sound.
Had to let it go when my lower back told me I shouldn't be loading 4x12's in and out of gigs.

Phil X. "Recording with......."

I've listed the Alice Cooper one here but there are others on Phil's Youtube channel (philx1111) if you...

Lovely LPs Roger!
Yeah not sure why they bothered with pickgards...
I take the 'poker chip' switch disc off my Les Paul's as well. An unnecessary piece of plastic.

Re: The Collection: Brian Ray

Interesting series of twelve videos on that channel called 'The Process' showing the various stages of guitar production at Gibson.

Give them a call.
If they still have the speakers maybe they will post them to you.

Re: G12C / Mojotone Watchtower Speakers

A little while back, I bought a couple of 16ohm G12C's from Marshall spares dept.
Maybe they still have some?

I think these are referred to as Canadian CSA models which meant that Canada had specified extra safety standards for the gear. Someone on here will know the exact details.

Re: Phil X and Brian Tichy in Lockdown

Phil has his day job, playing guitar for Bon Jovi, but still keeps his own band going, who gig regularly and have produced a stack of original material.

Re: NAD VM 2266

If the amp sounds great I would leave those power tubes alone. The only problem I ever had with my VM was changing power tubes. The Chinese Shuguangs are the ones to have but their quality control is not good. There are some re-badgers like Penta or TAD who will weed out inferior tubes. Worth paying...

Great track from the golden days of Whitesnake when Coverdale's voice was at it's best.

Re: World's In a Bad Condition

It's bringing out the worst in people and the worst people. We have been advised to shop normally as food supplies are not a problem, but still the shelves are empty. People are queuing at dawn, waiting for stores to open to strip them clean. Just seen a UK nurse crying on tv as she had just finishe...
