Yeah you can just drop in and adjust EL34, 6L6GC, 5881, KT66, KT77, 6550, KT88.

Try the AFD alone. Guitar-amp-speaker and play with the adjustments that are giving you the issue. Is it still doing it? If yes most likely the amp if no put it back into it's other setup, is the issue appearing again?
If yes it's something in the switcher setup.
