What i am curious about is why the factory did this? Makes me wonder how the OT's in 6100's are wired under the bell caps? I am gonna pull one off tonight and take a look but from measurements they seem to have all three taps available.

Hi Mike, yeah you are correct. I dug into some pics i took of a 6101 and the OT is closest to the power switches. That said this one here is wired the same( may have been one of yours) So those are wired for 4/8 if you measure the resistance from the brown lead to the blk/grn, yel, empty it will be ...

Mike that should be the power transformer. The OT's wires should lead in from under the control board. Can you show the other side?

So if you get 520 on the positive lead of DB2 and 24 at R218 then you'll need to trace through from DB2's out put.
