Re: Astoria Custom HT fuse

I'm extremely busy today so can't really take any time at the moment for this. However I will revisit this post either later today, or tomorrow when I have more time. It would be very helpful if you could identify what has burned. Is the rectifier valve base OK. Frustrating that I can't just get it...

Re: Astoria Custom HT fuse

I can test secondary wiring from OT. 0'7 ohms 16 output. 0'5 ohms 8 output 0'4 ohms 4 output Usually I dodn't use standby switch like Steve said when It was ok. I turn on and I spent some minutes after I start playing. Right now I'm using the same speaker cable and cab that I used with the Astoria. ...

Without rectifier tube don't blow ht fuse. The amp smells bad, smells burned. I hope it's not the OT.

Re: Astoria Custom HT fuse

Well, I did some tests. Sadly the amp has a problem. I did some tests just with rectifier tube, no power tubes. If I use rectifier tubes (I tryed two) the ht fuse blows about in one minute after I turn on standby switch. If I use a solit rectifier the ht fuse blows right away. I hope Steve can help ...

Astoria Custom HT fuse

Hi all. Bad news. No sound on my Astoria today. It blows HT fuse (315mA). I have spare tubes for It. I installed others tubes (rectifier tube and power tubes). But I don't have 315mA fuses right now. Just 200mA. It blows 200mA fuse as well. If I try It without power tubes don't blow 0,2A fuse. What ...
